March 11, 2003: Psychological Treatment in Digestive Disorders: Using the Brain to Help the Gut by Dr. Lesley Graff, Clinical Psychologist, University of Manitoba.

March 25, 2003: The Role of Physical Activity in Living with Chronic Digestive Disorders: Challenges and Approaches by Ms. Lorraine Mischuk, Occupational Therapist, Maximize Human Capabilities.

April 15, 2003: Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease: Medication & Surgical Therapies by Dr. Michael Cantor, Section of Gastroenterology, University of Manitoba.

April 29, 2003: Dietary Fiber: The Good, the Bad & the Ugly by Ms. Rebecca Veitch, Gastroenterology Nutritionist, St. Boniface General Hospital.

The Canadian Society of Intestinal Research (SiR) has spearheaded a national campaign for digestive disease awareness and in doing so, is supporting the U of M Bad Gut Lecture Series (www.umanitoba.ca).
