The Christmas Party is over and once again done
And really was enjoyed by everyone.
The venue this year was the same as last
And everyone ruminated about the year just gone past.
Sam played his harmonica and did himself proud
And when he was done the applause was real loud!
Who knew we had such talent in our midst
And who knows what other talents abide on our list!
Will from the north end with his accents galore
Made everyone laugh - why, some even roared!
The food was delightful everybody agreed
And about going home hungry there sure was no need.
The Silent Auction that followed was such a success
And Helmut & Barry ran it with real finesse.
Our hats are off to the Norwood Hotel crew
For providing us with the makings of a mighty fine "do."
A good time was had and I'm sure you'll agree
It was wonderful being amid such great company.
Now before I close off on this little rhyme
We hope you enjoyed this past holiday time.
May the year 2005 bring you all you deserve
