Natural Fertilizer
I was watering a friends flowers for her. Now this is not just any watering favor. This woman has flowers out the ying yang and it takes a good hour or more to water all the darn pots around her house (outside). I was fairly new to the ostomy world and my bag filled........I was in a corner near the back of her house, kind of tucked in. Watering some of her geraniums. I knew I did not have time to make it all the way down the street to my own home, as it was full to the brim. So, I looked around...............and dumped in the dirt near her hosta's. I did not know what else to do. Then I watered that area really well. Watery output and long watering sessions that far from home just do not mix. Especially for a newbie.
Anyway, at the end of the summer, she was saying how well I must have taken care of those hosta's as they grew better than they ever had . She was actually planning on pulling them as they were looking sickly. But, now they are growing very well. LMAO. If only she knew.
Natural fertilization. Now, that is living 'green'............. hehehe
Don't get me wrong, I don't go around dumping just anywhere I get the fancy. But, duty called and I was left with few options.
