Friends of Ostomates Worldwide (F.O.W.). Did You Know.....

Friends of Ostomates Worldwide is dedicated to helping Ostomates around the world, particularly in underdeveloped countries, to have an opportunity to obtain some ostomy supplies when they would have little or no chance of doing so otherwise. The Canadian headquarters is located in Oakville, Ontario.

Ostomates, hospitals, personal care homes, retailers, and other distributors are encouraged to save supplies they can no longer use and contact the Winnipeg Ostomy Association for pick-up. We want to be a part of this very worthwhile endeavor. Since January of this year, the Winnipeg Ostomy Association has made two shipments of several large cartons each to F.O.W. headquarters. Shipping is costly however, worth the cost to help the less fortunate. Any contributions of supplies, or funds to help defray the shipping costs, are greatly appreciated. A tax receipt will be provided for all monetary donations of $5.00 or more.
