When Maureen offered her home as the venue for the "social" it sounded like she must have a pretty interesting home. She sure does. What a fabulous place for a "social" which was really one great big happy party. Even the helpers seemed happy. The snacks were "elegant", delicious and nutritious. The DJ played the best social music, some from "community club" and old high school dances. There was a wide variety of valuable prizes. We really enjoyed the opportunity to be part of such a wonderful event chatting, dancing and laughing with friends from WOA and other folks. My husband had such a good time he forgot that he just does slow dances. Our friends who bought tickets thanked us for inviting them to such a fun event. A very special "thank you" to Maureen for all the time and energy spent cleaning, polishing and decorating her beautiful home and allowing us to use it. Many people helped to make the event run smoothly and deserve thanks as well. What a great evening!
