Since last September plans have been underway to move the Ostomy Supply Distribution Center from the Materials Distribution Center on St. James Street in Winnipeg to a new location at 59 Pearl Street, which is part of the Health Sciences Center (HSC) complex.

A committee consisting of Claude Michon, Manager, Logistics Services, Winnipeg Regional Health Authority (WRHA), Mike Carlow also from the WRHA, Joe Rumore, from HSC, Gay Hordienko ET, Coordinator, Manitoba Ostomy Program (MOP), Dave Page, President WOA and Helmut Friesen, Vice-President, WOA have worked diligently to make sure that the transition will be as smooth as possible.

Included in this newsletter is a letter from Claude Michon and a map showing the location of the new Distribution Center at 59 Pearl Street, along with new phone numbers and hours of operation.

PLEASE NOTE:

• The Transition to 59 Pearl Street occurs on September 1, 2005.
• Until August 31, 2005, orders for ostomy supplies are to be made through the Materials Distribution Agency using the current telephone numbers.
• From September 1, 2005 on, from the new Distribution Center using the telephone numbers listed in the letter from Claude Michon.
