A Job Well Done!
Stan and Mary-Beth Sparkes have for many years been supporters of the Winnipeg Ostomy Association. Stan was first Secretary then President during the mid 1990's and led the charge in opposing the implementation of the co-payment on Ostomy Supplies by the Provincial Government and the possible take-over of the distribution system by the Manitoba Society of Pharmacists. Mary-Beth was head of the Library Committee. While they did remain active for some time Stan's health eventually prevented them from attending meetings.
But they still remained active. For a good number of years Stan and Mary-Beth have been in charge of mailing this newsletter. They have picked the newsletter up at the printers them folded it and stuffed the envelopes, then delivered it to the Post Office. All 400 copies each issue!!!! Thanks to both of you.
They have decided that now is the time to pass this task on to someone else, so we welcome Betty and Bert Andrews to the newsletter team.
