WOA Meetings: New Location, New Dates

With this month's meeting, the Winnipeg Ostomy Association moves into the Society for Manitobans with Disabilities (SMD) building. We are now part of the SMD Self Help Clearing House and will also have office space in this building. It is located at 825 Sherbrook Street directly across from the Rehab Hospital in the Health Sciences Complex. The meeting room is on the second floor and there is an elevator. SMD has their own parking lot, which is accessed off of McDermot Ave. Please register your vehicle with the security desk upon entering.

We have also had to move our meeting date to the 4th Wednesday of the month from the third. This means that this months meeting is on September 27th. The 7:30 time remains the same.

Special guests at this month's meeting are E.T.'s Gay Hordienko and Karen Spencer. They were invited to do a presentation about the Manitoba Ostomy Program for the World Council of Enterostomal Therapist's convention held in July in Singapore. They will be speaking about their experiences at the meeting. It should be very interesting to hear about their "Far Eastern" adventure! I look forward to seeing you at the meeting!
