World Ostomy Day
The World Ostomy Day is one of the most important days for ostomates world-wide. It is a day where all ostomates should act together to promote and advertise our cause. It is also an opportunity to advertise early detection and to give the general public the knowledge of our existence and that we can and do live normal lives.
I also hope that the knowledge of cooperation between the medical profession and our organizations is improving in that the cooperation is getting better. I wish you all the very best for this most important day of all our organizations.

President, International Ostomy Association
