WOA President, Lorrie Pismenny (L) is presented with the Alan Porter Memorial Award from FOWC President, Astrid Graham
Our program is called SHARE ---- ‘SENDING HELP AND REHABILITATION EVERYWHERE’ ----. I will mention at this point that during the last 12 months FOWC did 48 shipments ranging from 2 kg to 1,000 kg all over the world.
As in the last few years the recipient is selected by the Executive of FOWC using the accumulated data.
Our selection for the 2007 Allan Porter Award is an Ostomy Chapter that has a lot of passion for Ostomates in need of supplies and for our program.
FOWC regularly receives from the selected chapter large boxes of collected supplies and this chapter also pays for the shipping cost. This chapter automatically renews their yearly FOWC membership and always includes a large donation.
Would President ‘Lorrie Pismenny’ please come forward and accept the 2007 FOWC Allan Porter Award on behalf of the Winnipeg Ostomy Association.
