Visitor Training
Many thanks to those who made the Visitor Training Day a success. The day started with coffee, juice and donuts, sponsored by Gigi Debuque from Hollister. Dave Page, our President welcomed everyone and made his opening remarks. Tom Roche, a social worker from Cancer Care Manitoba provided us with a very informative presentation on Communication. After, lunch was sponsored by Bonnie Schmidt from ConvaTec. Then E.T.'s Marcie Lyons and Bonita Yarjau shared their expertise regarding ostomies. The session ended with coffee and donuts sponsored by Gigi Debuque. Special thinks to those who came to the Visitor Training Session. The turnout was great; there were nine people who attended a training session for the first time and four that will be recertified.
