Visitor Training
Many thanks to those who made the Visitor Training day a success. The day started with coffee, juice and donuts sponsored by Jim Gawluk from Coloplast. Lorrie Pismenny our president welcomed everyone and made her opening remarks. Tom Roche, a social worker from Cancer Care Manitoba provided us with a very informative presentation on communication. Lunch was sponsored by Bonnie Schmidt from Convatec. Then Bonita Yarjau, E.T., shared her expertise regarding ostomies. The evaluations from the session were very positive. Special thanks to those who took the time on a beautiful Saturday to came to the visitor training session. The turnout was great, there were three people who attended a training session for the first time and nine that will be recertified.
