From The President's Desk
As was reported in September’s issue, your Executive has been celebrating the Winnipeg Ostomy Association’s (WOA’s) 35th Anniversary in a variety of ways and having fun while doing so. Now it’s your turn. We are planning to look back at our history and celebrate our accomplishments at the Chapter meeting on Wednesday, November 28, 2007. This is an invitation to all of you to come out for some laughs, some music, to reminisce, to make new friends and perhaps learn something you didn’t know about the WOA.
A Visitor’s Re-certification Training session has been scheduled for Saturday, November 24, 2007. Twenty-one letters have gone out to visitors whose time it is to be re-trained. Marcie Lyons RN, ET and Mary Robertson RN, ET will be providing a varied and interesting event that day.
We’re looking forward to you joining us for our Annual Christmas Party on Sunday, December 2/07. Please call Helmut Friesen at 888-4014 for tickets.
As this is the last newsletter before the end of the year, I wish to take this opportunity to send you and your families a wish for PEACE and GOODWILL in the coming CHRISTMAS SEASON and a very HAPPY NEW YEAR!
