Heartwarming
In 2002, you sponsored my daughter, Kristin Matichuk, age 13, to go to Camp Horizon, a camp near Banff Alberta that, for one week in the summer, provides a fun place for children with many different bowel diseases or conditions. Kristin had her large bowel removed at the age of 11, 2 days after her 11th birthday, and had an ileostomy made which she had for 3 years. She is now going to Lakehead University in the Nursing Program..... I just want to thank you for helping my daughter live with a disease that can take many lives (ulcerative colitis), at it almost took her's the summer of 2000.
